2 Arrested in Pursuit; One at Large

The Guernsey County Sheriff’s Office search for a suspect who fled a vehicle on foot after an early Thursday morning pursuit.

Not many details are being released at this time, but a dispatcher said the incident began on Georgetown Road just after 2:00 a.m.

The pursuit lasted twelve miles when spike strips were deployed, successfully stopping the vehicle.

Three suspects then fled on foot. Two were taken into custody, a third is still being sought.

The sheriff’s office was assisted by the Cambridge Post of the State Highway Patrol.

More information is expected to be released later Thursday morning.
