2 Perry County Men Arrested in Drug Bust

Two Perry County men are arrested after a drug bust Friday night.

The Perry County Sheriff’s Office along with the Crooksville Police Department conducted a search at 27 South Buckeye Street in Crooksville.

Sergeant Kevin Starrett says the search occurred after his office purchased methadone from 38-year-old Brian Hanna. Deputies also collected additional methadone, other prescribed drugs, and a small amount of money. There were seven children home at the time of the bust, ranging in age from 5 to 13-years-old.

Hanna was taken into custody on one count of aggravated trafficking in drugs and one count of aggravated possession of drugs. 25-year-old Heath Kern was also arrested on misdemeanor charges.

Hanna is set to appear in court next week. Kern’s court date has not been scheduled yet.
