2 Plead Guilty To Theft Of Elderly

The Muskingum County Prosecutor’s Office say two more people have plead guilty to stealing from nursing home residents. Assistant Prosecutor John Litle says 51-year-old Carla Norman of Nashport pleaded guilty to 11 counts of theft of an elderly victim and one count of safecracking. Litle says Norman took cash from five different residents at the Emeritus at North Hills nursing home. Litle says 54-year-old Teresa Alfman of Zanesville also pleaded guilty today to one count of theft and one count of safe cracking at the nursing home. Litle says in both cases the thefts were caught on security cameras installed by the Ohio Attorney General’s Office. These two cases were part of a long investigation by the A-G’s Elder Abuse Division. Earlier this month 46-year-old Patricia Thomas of Zanesville plead guilty to 16 counts of theft of elderly victims.
