2-year-old boy MedFlighted after Coshocton Co. accident

COSHOCTON COUNTY, Ohio- A 2-year-old boy was MedFlighted after a 4-wheeler accident on Sunday afternoon.
According to the Coshocton County Sheriff’s Office, officers determined upon arrival that 2-year-old Mason Bales was riding a 4-wheeler with his grandmother, 45-year-old Sharon Kaufman. She lost control of the ATV and hit a ditch and they both were ejected from the vehicle.
Mrs. Kaufman was not injured and Mason suffered from head contusions and a face laceration. He was taken to Nationwide Children’s Hospital by MedFlight.
Assisting at the scene were Walhounding Valley Fire, Coshocton County EMS and MedFlight.
Mason’s condition is currently unknown.
