2013 Women of Achievement Winners

Every year the Muskingum Family YMCA selects women to receive A Women of Achievement Award.

The eight categories are in business, education, health care, young adult, bright futures, special recognition and a lifetime service award. The women nominated must fit a certain criteria to win.

Executive Director, Craig Miracle said "One of the main things, is that you know how are they giving back to the community, role models for other women, open doors for other women, and has been a great role model.

This is the 25th Anniversary of the Women of Achievement recognition program and the dinner event to honor these women will be on April 18th at 6 PM at the North Terrace Church of Christ.

" The event entails dinner, recognition of past recipients, also recognition of other folks that will be there and then we have introduction of all the recipients and then they will get the opportunity to stand up and speak and that is the highlight of the evening people walk away inspired by what the recipients have to say "

If you would like to attend the recognition dinner you can make reservation online, at Littick Hall on Ohio University- Zanesville Campus or at Park Central next week. Tickets are 37 dollars.
