2019 New Year’s Resolutions

ZANESVILLE, Ohio – 2019 is quickly approaching, and that means working on New Year’s resolutions.

New Year’s resolutions have become an annual tradition that goes back thousands of years ago. Most people who create resolutions, focus on self improvement. Examples of this are exercising, eating healthier, and getting a better job. All of these leading to a goal driven tradition. We spoke with some community members on what their New Years resolutions were.

“Well, I mean, we’re both in college. So obviously, good study habits, just staying committed to work and stuff would be good and nice,” said Caleb Wilson.

“Yeah, I guess I’m going to try to focus a little bit more. Sometimes you can get really busy trying to multitask everything. And sometimes it’s better to just do one thing at a time,” said Angela Goddard.

For the Helser family this upcoming year is significant, and their resolution was a big one.

“This coming year is pretty big for us. We’re planning on building a new house this year, so we would like to be able to spend next New Year’s in our new house. So that’s my resolution for the new year,” said the Helser family.

Whatever your New Years resolution may be, we wish you the best of luck in reaching your resolution goals in 2019.
