Christ’s Table receives free Lunch

Today a franchise helped Christ’s Table and those who rely on their free lunch.

This is the second year Little Caesars Love Kitchen helped provide Christ’s Table with freshly cooked pizza to serve for lunch. Executive Director Keely Warden said the truck travels around the country.

“This is something that Little Caesars does nationally, but actually the local franchise owners and the local associates come here and are the ones preparing the pizza in our back lot today to help serve those that are coming to Christ’s Table for a meal today,” said Warden.

Warden said Little Caesars contacted Christ Table and offered to help provide lunch.

“When you have a company that calls and says ‘Hey what can we do. We know you’re doing a good thing and we want to be apart of it.’ It just touches our hearts and everybody that we serves hearts that they’re stepping forward to do something as fantastic as this,” said Warden.

Keely says the pizza was balanced out with a freshly chopped salad, desert, and hot beverage and hopes this can become a yearly alliance with Little Caesars.
