Checkpoint Statistics Released

The State Patrol released statistics from this weekend’s sobriety checkpoint.

The checkpoint took place on the Maysville Pike just south of  West Lasalle in the Village of South Zanesville.

During the three hour event on Saturday the patrol said they came in contact with over 460 vehicles.

In addition to the checkpoint, a multitude of traffic stops were conducted which resulted in several violations.
