Construction on I-70/US 40

Construction begins Monday on the Interstate 70/US 40 interchange at exit 152 in Muskingum County, west of the City of Zanesville.

The Ohio Department of Transportation said two lanes of traffic will be maintained in each direction on I-70 at all times, lane shifts will be required.

ODOT said the work includes bridge replacements with widening and associated work.

Shelly and Sands is the prime contractor for the project which is expected to be complete July 1, 2019.
