One Injured in SR 79 Accident

One person is injured following a crash on State Route 79 in Heath, Monday night.

The Heath Police Department said 32-year-old Travis McCullough, of Newark, was traveling north on State Route 79 around 11pm when for an unknown reason his vehicle went of the right side of the road.

His vehicle then went through a yard and struck two parked vehicles before striking a tree.

When officers arrived the vehicle was on its top and McCullough had been ejected from the vehicle.

Authorities said he was taken by life flight to Ohio State University Medical Center with unknown injuries.

Police said speed is believed to be a factor in the crash.
