
Barbara Ann (Tharp) Ridenour, 85, of East Fultonham, passed away Mon. Apr. 23, 2018 at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was born on Jan. 16, 1933 in Crooksville to the late George William and Doris Marie (Veyon) Tharp. She is survived by her husband of 68 years George William Ridenour. Six children Renee (Tom) Hammers of Zanesville, Rosanna (Victor) Ackley of Dayton, Rebecca (Dan) Brewer of East Fultonham, Rodney (Sonya) Ridenour of Blue Rock, Roger Ridenour of the home, and Roberta (Terry) Shaw of Zanesville. 24 grandchildren, 56 greatgrandchildren, and 18 great-greatgrandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sons Randy and Rick, one daughter Ronda, two grandchildren Robert Randall and Keri Jo, two brothers Harold and George Tharp, two sisters Eileen Fisher and Thelma Chambers. She was a special lady. She was a wonderful wife, mom, grandma, aunt and friend. She had a ferocious love for God and people. Her heart and home were open to all. She was everyone’s go-to person for love and advice. Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. Friday April 27, 2018 at WILLIAM THOMPSON & SON FUNERAL HOME 5765 Gladstone Drive White Cottage. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Saturday April 28, 2018 at St. Thomas Catholic Church with Father Jan Sullivan as celebrant. Burial will be in Fultonham Cemetery.
