2nd Annual Dodgeball Tournament Registration

ZANESVILLE, Ohio – Muskingum Recreation Center’s Second Annual Dodgeball Tournament is just around the corner and teams can still register.

The United Way of Muskingum, Perry, and Morgan Counties and the Muskingum Recreation Center have been partners for years and the dodgeball tournament will help United Way give back to the community. Director of Resource Development, Katie McNeil encourages everyone to get ready to dodge a ball and show support in your community.

“It is really exciting, it’s a great way to volunteer and give some time and investment into some great programs that we have and invest in here, our community,” said McNeil.

The Tournament will be Thursday March 9, 2017 at 5:30 P.M. at the Muskingum Recreation Center. Event and Program Manager  Becky Weir said each person will need to fill out a registration form.

“We want to encourage teams to get together, teams of six to eight,” Weir said. “It’s $50.00 a team and all proceeds go to United Way and we just want to encourage everybody to come out, sign up. Get signed up by Friday [March 3,2017].”

100% of the proceeds raised will go straight towards United Way’s investments of health, education, and income in the community. Every participant will need to sign a release of liability to play and those forms can be found on the Muskingum Recreation Center’s website at muskingumrecreationcenter.org.
