3 In Custody for Crooksville Pharmacy Robbery

Three suspects are behind bars after a pharmacy robbery in Crooksville.

It happened Saturday, July 23rd around 4:00 p.m. Authorities say a man entered Blackers Pharmacy on Buckeye Street, pulled a gun on the cashier and demanded cash.

The cashier turned over 900 dollars, then the suspect, identified as Michael Murphy of Crooksville, fled on foot and met two people down the street where they made their get away.

All were later arrested at their homes.

The other two suspects are  identified as Sherri Johnston and her husband, Howard Johnson, both of Crooksville.

Murphy is being held in the Muskingum County Jail and the Johnston’s are being held in the Southeastern Ohio Regional Jail.

All are facing felony charges. No one was hurt in the incident.
