Catherine (Nicolia) Moore 89 of Zanesville passed away at 8:00 am on Monday May 21, 2018 at  Alter Care in Zanesville.

Catherine was born May 6, 1929 in Detroit, MI a daughter of the late Earl and Ester Singleton Nicolia; She married her husband Roger W. Moore on January 15, 1950; Catherine was a loving wife, mother and grandmother who loved her family dearly; She was a member of Rolling Plains United Methodist Church.

Catherine is survived by her husband of 68 years Roger; son Roger T. (Gloria) Moore; daughter Shirleen G. (James) Morehouse; 9 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren.

Besides her parents Catherine was preceded in death by a daughter Linda D. Moore; 2 brothers Ralph and James Nicolia; 3 sisters Lillian (Gay) Seifert, Kathleen Harrison and Shirley Helmick.

Private services will be held Thursday May 24, 2018 at the William Thompson and Son Funeral Home, White Cottage. Pastor Alethea Botts officiating.

Burial will follow at the Union Evangelical Cemetery in Baltimore, Ohio
