Three people are taken by Medflight to a Columbus-area hosital after an accident in Licking County.

It happened around 9:40 p.m. Saturday near the intersection of Licking Valley and Reform Roads.

The Granville Post of the State Highway Patrol says the accident is still under investigation, but it can report that a 2004 Ford Focus collided with a 2000 Ford Focus.

Driver Carl Flanagen and passenger Adam Montgomery, both of Newark, were injured in one unit. Driver Brendon Kramer and an 8-year-old passenger, both of Newark, were injured in a second unit. The three adults were transported to Grant Medical Center where Montgomery and Kramer were treated and released. A hospital spokesperson says Flanagan remains a patient in fair condition.
