4 Pounds Of Pot In Perry County
The Perry County Sheriff’s Department investigates an arson fire in one place finds marijuana somewhere else. Sheriff William Barker says on Monday deputies searched a home at 13090 State Route 155 in Corning and found the pot plants. The Sheriff says he and a deputy were initially investigating an arson fire that occurred on July 27th at a neighboring residence at 208 West Main Street. Agents from the Central Ohio Drug Enforcement Task Force seized a just over four pounds of marijuana from the residence along with firearms and drug paraphernalia. Sheriff Barker says one male was arrested at the scene, but his name is not being released until he is formally charged. The estimated street value of the marijuana is over $13,000
