9-11 Event To Honor Local Heroes

An event is planned for Tuesday in Zanesville to help the community remember the tragedy of the 9-11 terrorist attacks. The Muskingum County Foundation’s Scholarship Central is hosting a luncheon for fire fighters, law enforcement officers and emergency medical personnel. Scholarship Central’s Samantha Garber says the group considers these men and woman heroes of the community and this is a way to say thank you. The event will take place at Park Central on Adams Lane from 11 am until 2 p.m.
