9-Year-Old Taken to Hospital after Accident

The Zanesville Police Department says a 9-year-old boy is sent to Genesis Bethesda Hospital after an accident in the Burger King parking lot on Maple Avenue.

It happened around 7:30 p.m.

ZPD says a fender-bender occurred in the drive-thru lane. The boy was in the white car that was hit. ZPD says he complained of neck pain and was taken to the hospital as a precautionary measure.

No one has been cited yet. The crash remains under investigation.
