Zane State Cutting 8 Jobs

Zane State College Friday announced that it is cutting some jobs at the Zanesville and Cambridge Campuses. College officials say 8 employees are leaving as part of a “right sizing” move at the two campuses. Director of Marketing and Communications Nick Welch the school is trying to bring staffing levels to campus enrollment levels. Welch says positions that are being lost include some administration, faculty and staff. The employees will be leaving between the end of March and the end of June. Welch says these moves will have no effect on student services and no programs are being cut. Welch says Zane State officials are sad to see this happening.
