ZPD: Hit and Run Accident Update

The Zanesville Police Department announced an update on the investigation into a hit and run accident on Linden Avenue. It happened Saturday April 9th by Terry’s Tavern. Captain Tony Coury says detectives have located the driver and the vehicle involved in the incident. But, detectives are still doing interviews in the case and no charges have been filed yet. Police will not release the name of the driver until he is formally charge. The victim is recovering from her injuries. Captain Coury says the investigation could be wrapped in the next two weeks.
