Sobriety Checkpoint Planned This Week

The Zanesville Post of the Highway Patrol says a sobriety checkpoint is planned for this week. Lt. Matt Boyd says the county where the event will take place will be announced a day prior to the checkpoint, and the location will be announced the morning of the checkpoint. Boyd says the idea is to deter and intercept impaired drivers. If you plan to consume alcohol, designate a driver or make other travel arrangements before you drink.
