Planet Fitness Opens in Zanesville

ZANESVILLE,OHIO- A new business opens its doors in Zanesville Monday.

Planet Fitness is now officially open for business in the Colony Square Mall. Planet Fitness currently has 14 employees. This gym is more than 17,000 square feet. It features a variety of work out equipment.

“Providing a judgment free zone,” Planet Fitness Regional Manager Joshua Klopfer said. “80% of our members are actually new gym users. We try to provide a unique environment that anybody can come workout in. Our motto is we don’t cater to power lifters or body builders we’re more geared toward the everyday crowd, more geared towards general fitness.”

This gym has roughly 1500 members already and the neat thing about this gym is, it’s open 24 hours day.

“We just strive to create that comfortable non intimidating environment that anybody, and we mean anybody can come in and work out. We go above and beyond to create what we call raving fans, making sure that everybody is satisfied with our customer service,” Kloper said.
