Rollover Accident Closes State Route 146
A one-car rollover accident briefly closed State Route 146 just north of Zanesville Wednesday night.
Trooper Ted Davis with the Zanesville Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol said that the vehicle was heading west bound on 146 when the driver drove off the right side of the road at the 146 and Clay Littick Road intersection. The vehicle struck four large rocks on the side of the road before overturning. Trooper Davis said the driver was a female and was the only one in the car.
David said she was transported to Genesis and her injuries are not thought to be life-threatening. Trooper Davis said distracted driving could have played a role in the crash. The accident remains under investigation.
