Gratiot United Methodist Church Celebrates Independence Day

GRATIOT, OH- The Gratiot United Methodist Church celebrated their annual Independence Day Celebration on the 4th of July.

Pastor Matthew Blau said that each year they have a big cookout with a large assortment of foods, beverages, and desserts.

As a part of the 4th of July celebration, they also held their annual parade down Main Street in Gratiot.

“We have people in ATVs, Fire trucks and Police cars, we got a big variety of floats and other participants in the parade too.”

Pastor Matthew Blau said that hes thankful for all the help from the community and the National Trails Volunteer Fire Department for hosting the event.
