Charges Filed in Morgan County Shooting

The Morgan County Sheriff is releasing new information in connection with last week’s shooting incident. Sheriff Douglas McGrath says the suspect in the case is identified as 42-year-old Brian Poff of Stow and he is charged with Felonious Assault. He is being held in the county jail on $100,000 bond. The victim is identified as 41-year-old Christopher Adamson of West Salem and is still hospitalized. Sheriff McGrath says he suffered four gunshot wounds and his condition is unknown. The Sheriff says the case against Poff is expected to go before Grand Jury and additional charges will be sought.
