Moose Lodge Celebrates With A Kids Day

The Zanesville Moose Lodge is continuing it’s 100th Anniversary Celebration with a fun filled day for kids.

Saturday’s activities included karaoke, face painting and a bounce house. Organizer Carolyn Arbuckle had great expectations for the day.

"We’re going to have chicken dinners for sale for five dollars and hot dogs and snow cones and chips, those are all free. Everything we’ve done on the weekend, except for the auction, the half and half and the chicken dinners has all been free," said Arbuckle.

There was also a Chinese auction and a quilt raffle. Children had a chance to win big too.

"We’ve got prizes to give away for the ring toss, we have for the bean bag toss and the ring toss, you can get a bottle of pop a two liter, and we’re giving prizes of glow necklaces and bracelets," said Arbuckle.

Many families turned out for the anniversary festivities despite the hot weather.
