Farmers Market: Momma Gail’s Baked Goods

ZANESVILLE, Ohio – It was a beautiful summer day here in Southeastern Ohio, which brought plenty of people to the Muskingum County Farmers Market.

One vendor was Momma Gail’s Baked Goods, a local company that makes delicious cookies, pies and more. Head Baker and Owner, Gail Wyatt said she looks forward to the farmers market each week because of the people that come out to support local businesses.

Wyatt said “we sell a little bit of everything. We sell tons of cookies, pies, bread, and I pretty much bake to order. Whatever someone wants I’ll just bake it for them.” Wyatt added “We love being out here at the farmers market. It’s just a great place to sell our goods. The people here are awesome. All the vendors work together real well so it’s just a fun place to be.”

Wyatt said she has been coming to the farmer’s market for three years, and she loves the atmosphere it brings.

“I’ve been here for three years. The first year I sold my woodwork and then I decided to sell my baked goods and I’ve been doing that ever since,” Wyatt said.
