Road work begins Monday on Two Morgan County Roads

MORGAN COUNTY, Ohio–The Ohio Department of Transportation announced that landslide repairs will begin Monday, August 12, on State Route 78 in Morgan County, just east of County Road 16.
Officials said between 7:00 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. State Route 78 will be reduced to one lane with an 11 ft. restriction for landslide repairs. The weekday restriction will be in place until October 31st when the project is estimated to be complete.
Starting at 8:00 a.m., State Route 37 will be closed between CR 100- Echo Hill and State Route 78 for tree trimming. The road will be open each day by 2:30 p.m. Weather permitting, the tree trimming is expected to take two weeks to complete.
