Pet of the week: Dee Dee

ZANESVILLE, Ohio – If you’re looking to add a kitten to your family, the Animal Shelter Society has a new kitty named Dee Dee.

Dee Dee is a black 3-month-old kitten with quite the personality. She loves cuddling, playing and Animal Shelter Society Board Member, Dawn Fello said Dee Dee would make a great addition to any family.

“I think she would fit in good with any family. She is very friendly, easy to take care of, loves to play and I think it would be a great first family,” Fello said.

This month is Feline Frenzy at the Animal Shelter Society. All cat adoption fees are only 20 dollars. In September, the Shelter has a fundraiser planned that you won’t want to miss.

“We do have a fundraiser coming up on Saturday, September 21st. It is the first one we have ever had like this. It is called a Day at the Dog House. We have nine celebrities from around the community that are willing to lock themselves in a dog cage for four hours or until they raise a specific amount of money,” Fello added.
