Linda Marie Purks

Linda Marie Purks, age 71 of Zanesville, passed away, Sunday, October 13, 2019 at her home in Zanesville.

She was born Saturday, July 3, 1948 in Zanesville, the daughter of Harry Dunn and Alberta (Pride) Dunn. She was married on Thursday, September 14, 1978 to George W. Purks who survives.

She was a Christian by faith. Linda loved to garden and cook She was a loving wife mother and grandmother and will be greatly missed

In addition to her husband she is survived by three children, Frank W. (Julie McLean) Davis of Zanesville, Mike A. (Fiancé’ Karen McMillen) Davis Sr. of Coshocton and Stacey L. (Lawrence) Corder of Zanesville; Step Children, Laurie Noland of Florida; Jennifer (Mike) Boesman of NJ and 8 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by one grandson, Ryan Harriman, great grandson Matthew A. Davis, Jr. and one brother Tom Dunn.

Friends may call from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Thursday, October 17, 2019 at the Hillis, Combs & Nestor Funeral Home, 935 Forest Avenue, Zanesville. A memorial service will be held Friday October 18, 2019 at the Coburn United Methodist Church, 3618 maple Avenue, Zanesville.
