Linden Avenue Restaurant Holds Ribbon Cutting Tuesday

Rake's Place Ribbon Cutting

ZANESVILLE, Ohio – Named after her husband, Brian “Rake” Herron, a restaurant owner in Zanesville held a ribbon cutting Tuesday.

Rake’s Place offers seafood, steaks and other dishes.

“The grouper sub is one of our biggest sellers, also the steak sub and the Rake’s bone-in rib-eye. All of our seafood is fresh, all of our meats are fresh – never frozen, appetizers, there’s a little bit of everything, kids menu, lunch portions, dinner portions.”

Co-owner Amber Herron says she and Larry Knellinger opened Rake’s because they wanted a place of their own.

“I’ve been in the restaurant business for years and I just wanted to do my own thing so we just got to looking and this kinda just fell in our lap.”

The business is open Sunday through Thursday from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Friday and Saturday 11 a.m. until 10 p.m.

They’re located at 2207 Linden Ave.
