BREAKING: Jackknifed Semi Closes I-70 West Bound at Gratiot

ZANESVILLE, Ohio — A semi truck has jackknifed on I-70’s westbound lanes, closing those lanes near the Gratiot exit, near the Muskingum / Licking Co. line.

The Ohio State Highway Patrol confirmed to WHIZ News that the interstate is closed at milepost 145, and the Ohio Dept. of Transportation is establishing a detour at the 152 milepost.

U.S. Route 40 is your recommended detour in that area. Expect lengthy traffic delays.
