Little Caesar’s on Maple Ave. closed Sunday after car rams into building

ZANESVILLE, Ohio – A ‘Closed for Today,’ sign was taped to the door of Little Caesar’s on Maple Avenue Sunday afternoon.

Police say an elderly man drove into the business and with his Buick sedan.

The windows to the building were shattered and the railing were destroyed. A tow truck was on scene hauling the vehicle away.

Police have not disclosed the cause of the crash. They say the man involved was not taken to the hospital.

According to one witness, no one inside the building was injured.

The restaurant was closed at the time of the crash.
