Man Pleads Guilty To Bank Robbery

A man charged in connection with a Morgan County Bank robbery on August 7th pleads guilty in court Tuesday. Morgan County Prosecutor Mark Howdyshell says 23-year-old Bradley Allen Divel, who is from somewhere in Pennsylvania, entered a guilty plea to the aggravated robbery of the First National Bank in Stockport. Howdyshell says Divel cooperated with the Sheriff to recover the stolen money and confessed which led to a quick resolution of the case. Howdyshell says Divel said he robbed the bank because he could not find a job and needed money to pay for a place to live with his girlfriend and her daughters. Howdyshell says since he cooperated and used a b-b gun during the robbery he faces four years in prison when sentenced.
