Animal Shelter Hires Executive Director

The Animal Shelter in Muskingum County Thursday announced it has hired its new Executive Director. Shelter Board President Stephanie Hill says Jody Murray; formerly the Executive Director of The Carr Center in Zanesville has been hired for the position. Hill says Murray’s past experience in managing a non-profit, along with his fundraising experience and connections to our local community made him the best choice. Murray is a graduate of Ohio University and lives in Blue Rock with his wife and daughters on their small farm where they raise horses, donkeys, cats and dogs.
