Burn Victim Found On Road Dies

The Canton area woman who was found naked,burned and probably raped on the side of a Muskingum County Road Sunday morning has died. Muskingum County Sheriff Matt Lutz says 29-year-old Celeste E. Fronsman died at the Ohio State University Medical Center at 2:22 Tuesday afternoon. Lutz says Fronsman suffered 4th degree burns and had been listed in critical condition. The Sheriff says an autopsy will be performed and the investigation continues.  Sheriff Lutz has said this was not a random act.  There is a vehicle that investigators found in the Canton area and there are some people of interest that his officers are investigating.  Lutz also said that his deputies found the location in Muskingum County where the crime took place and his investigators will try to create a timetable of events. The Sheriff says he has a grasp of two or three different scenarios that he is not yet prepared to release.  Anyone with information on this incident is asked to call the Muskingum County Sheriff’s Office at 740 452-3637.  A records check with Canton Municipal Court shows that Fronsman had been convicted of soliciting for prostituon and possession of drug paraphenalia charges.
