Five Plead Guilty in Connection with Drug Bust

In Muskingum County Common Pleas Court Monday five people pled guilty to charges related to a drug bust.

In April the State Highway Patrol in Preble County stopped a mini-van for speeding and discovered 20 pounds of marijuana that was headed to a Zanesville home.

Five people were taken into custody after a search warrant was executed at the Livingston Avenue residence.

Monday 29-year-old Bethany Harris pled guilty to tampering with evidence, 31-year-old Todd Harris possession of marijuana and 31-year-old Jeffrey Jones possession of marijuana and possession of illegal mushrooms.

Two California residents 29-year-old Jonathon Royster and 27-year-old Andrew McGivney pled guilty to possession of marijuana.

Judge Kelly Cottrill ordered pre-sentence investigations in all five cases.
