Gas company can help you stay cool while saving money

ZANESVILLE – Columbia gas is offering resident – benefiting programs including a “smart” thermostat.

“We have $75 rebates on smart thermostats. So, when you leave, you can use your smart phone to turn down your thermostat, save some energy; when you come back you can use your smart phone to turn it right back up to get that air conditioning going where it needs to be. We also do home energy audits which are at no cost through September. We will do the audit, we’ll recommend work that needed to be done to get your home weathered and we’ll also get you some generous rebates to get the work done,” Columbia Gas’ Dave Rau said.

The smart thermostat is very easy to install and can be purchased on Columbia Gas’ website.
