Coshocton Child’s Death Ruled Homicide
The Coshocton County Sheriff’s Office is continuing to investigate the death of an 8-week-old child.
WKYC TV in Cleveland is reporting that the Summit County Medical Examiner has ruled the child’s death a homicide after an autopsy this past weekend. The examiner indicated the child died from traumatic injuries.
The Coshocton County Sheriff’s Office responded on Thursday evening to a Glenview Way home just after 10 p.m. to assist with a child that was not breathing.
WKYC TV is reporting that 8-week-old Raven Lafferty was taken to Akron Children’s Hospital for treatment and died Friday night.
The Sheriff’s Office says 23-year-old Corey Lafferty is being held on a $250,000 bond on a felonious assault charge.
