Drowning Investigated in Muskingum River

The name of the man who drowned this weekend in the Muskingum River has not been released. Authorities say his body was recovered Sunday afternoon around 4:00. The Dresden Volunteer Fire Department found the body about five miles north of Lane’s landing in Dresden. The Ohio Department of Natural Resources helped in the search that started Saturday night.
