Command Center reports 9 new cases of COVID-19 in Muskingum County

ZANESVILLE, Ohio— The Muskingum County Joint Unified Command Center reported Wednesday that nine more Muskingum County residents have tested positive for COVID-19.

Case 292 is a 61-year-old woman. Case 293 is a 42-year-old man. Case 294 is a 21-year-old man. Case 295 is a 50-year-old man. Case 296 is a 54-year-old man. Case 297 is a 52-year-old man. Case 298 is a 21-year-old man. Case 299 is a 22-year-old man. These cases are connected to an outbreak of cases in a congregate living facility and are recovering at home.

Case 300 is a 50-year-old woman who is not related to previous cases and recovering at home.

Update from 8-18-2020: The investigations on cases 289-291 are now complete. Case 289 is a 60-year-old man. Case 290 is a 19-year-old man. Case 291 is a 30-year-old man. These cases are connected to an outbreak of cases in a congregate living facility and are recovering at home.
