ZANESVILLE, Ohio-People were packed into the strip mall on Maysville Pike for a Fall Fest held by the property owners.

The festival featured local artists, vendors and food trucks. Organizer Tanner Wilson tells us more about the festival.

“We’ve got the Buckeye Fall Fest going on today. We decided it’s been tough for a lot of vendors and local artists and everything so. We’ve had the thought for quite a few years now, and since we got the property this year we decided this might be a good year to start it up and see what happens.”

Hundreds of people showed up to the festival, with cars lined up for blocks to park. Wilson says that it meant a lot to him to see people come together.

“It’s amazing. It’s a good feeling to know that they’re looking forward to it, everybody in the community is looking forward to it. We’ve had a heck of a response so far. It’s nice for people to get out, breathe some fresh air, have some good food, great vendors. So it feels good that we could put it together for them.”

Planning the event took about four weeks and could happen again next fall.
