Farmers

ZANESVILLE, Ohio-The Zanesville Farmers Market has a vendor selling baked goods and various artworks called Hayes Hives.

Hayes Hives is known for its fresh honey as well as its baked goods and art work. The vendors are a niece and aunt combo. The niece, Jordan Wilson, makes the art pieces.

“I really paint whatever i want. This season is the first time really selling my art and doing anything with it. So the whole concept of what I’m painting, and what I should, I’m pretty new to.”

Jordan sells paintings and decorative pieces. Her aunt, Lurenda Hayes, makes the baked goods. She tells us where we can order from her when she isn’t at the farmers market.

“If you look for Hayes Hives on Facebook we have our honey and things on there, and you can contact us through Hayes Hives… Some of the pieces of art sell for five dollars. It goes from five to forty dollars because my husband makes some of the coin holders and jewelry boxes and memory boxes.”

The Zanesville Farmers Market runs in the Adornetto’s parking lot on Saturday mornings through the end of October.
