COVID-19 pop-up testing site available in Crooksville

Southeast Crooksville

CROOKSVILLE
–There will be a no-cost pop-up COVID-19 testing site at the
Crooksville Village Park on Tuesday, November 24, 2020 from 10:00
a.m. – 2:00 p.m.

The
Ohio National Guard will administer up to 300 tests that will be
available, and residents will be notified within 5-7 days if their
test is positive for COVID-19. Those attending the event will not
need to leave their cars to receive the test.

Symptoms
of COVID-19 include fever, dry cough, loss of taste and/or smell,
fatigue, upset stomach, or headache. Anyone can get a no-cost test at
this event, regardless of whether or not they are experiencing
symptoms.

“By
joining with the Ohio National Guard and other local partners, we can
provide tests to any Ohioan who wants one,” says Ohio Governor Mike
DeWine. “With a better understanding of COVID-19 through increased
testing, we’ll be better able to prevent its spread.”

No
appointment or doctor’s note is necessary. The address for the site
is 151 Village Park Drive Crooksville, Ohio 43731. HAPCAP would like
to thank the Perry County Health Department, the Ohio National Guard,
the Crooksville Mayor’s Office, and the Ohio Governor’s Office
for facilitating this event.

Questions
related to the testing process can be directed to the Perry County
Health Department at (740) 342-5179.
