Animal Shelter Society Pet of the Week

ZANESVILLE, OH – The Animal Shelter Society introduces Wynonna Judd as their Pet of the Week.
Wynonna is a 7 year old female beagle who has been at the shelter for a few months now. If you’re looking for an easy going and laid back addition to your family, Wynonna is the perfect match!
“She doesn’t appear right now to have high energy but she would work well in a home with children. (Wynonna) is dog selective, we you know want to make sure that we do that meet and greet that we do here. She doesn’t have an issue with cats, so I think we would be fine there. But she actually is as you can see by the size of her she’s an excellent lap dog. She’s just a very loving has a very kind heart,” Secretary of the Board of Directors April Cohagen-Gibson said.
Due to the kindness of sponsors Wynonna’s adoption fee has been brought down to $75, not including microchip and dog license. The Animal Shelter Society is also having a Valentine Cat Adoption Special.
“We are promoting, that will start on Monday. It’s Cat-itine for My Valentine and our cats will be then half price, their adoption fee. Then of course you have that $5 microchip. It’s very important to get our felines, we have a very large number here at our shelter and we have several on the waiting list to come in. And that’s how we want to promote that.”
Due to COVID-19 Protocols the shelter is still closed to the public. If you are interested in adopting Wynonna or any animal at the shelter you can go online to http://www.animalsheltersociety.org and fill out an adoption application form.
