Emergency Siren Testing

The Guernsey County Sheriff’s Office said that residents of Byesville shouldn’t be alarmed if they hear an emergency siren Saturday.

The Sheriff’s Office reported that the Gemma Power Plant in Byesville will test their emergency siren around 11am. The test may last up to 30 minutes.

The sheriff’s office said if you hear the siren know that it is only a test and not an actual emergency.
