School Bus Accident in Muskingum County
The Zanesville Post of the Highway Patrol is investigating an Tuesday morning school bus accident.
The patrol said it happened around 8:30 am on Back Run Road and involved a Franklin Local School bus and a pick up truck. Authorities said the pick up truck lost control on ice and hit the bus. An earlier report that the bus driver was at fault was in error.
The bus was carrying thirteen children, but there were no injuries reported. The students were transferred to another bus.
The Harrison Township Fire Department also responded to the scene.
The accident remains under investigation.
