Danny A. Dennison, 73, of Nashport, Ohio died Saturday afternoon, January 23, 2021 at his home.

Born January 5, 1948 in Louisville, Kentucky he was a son of the late Alton and Genevieve (Carnes) Dennison and was a 1967 graduate of West Muskingum High School.  He retired in 2010 from Tectum, Inc. of Newark where he was a forklift operator.  Danny was a member of Macedonia United Methodist Church, Jackson Lodge #85, F. & A. M. at Brownsville and the Scottish Rite, Valley of Columbus.  He was a former Cub Scout leader and he enjoyed building and flying remote controlled airplanes.

Surviving is his loving wife of 50 years, Joyce J. (Fry) Dennison whom he married December 31, 1970; one son and daughter in-law, Dana and Amanda Dennison of Nashport; two grandchildren, Hillary (Andrei) Lupusoru and Ashton Dennison; two brothers, Darryl (Karen) Dennison and Michael (Jan) Dennison, both of Nashport; five nieces and nephews and five great nieces and great nephews.

Calling hours will be 4pm to 7pm Thursday, January 28, 2021 at the Frazeysburg Chapel of Vensil & Chute Funeral Home, 110 West Third Street.  Following calling hours, Jackson Lodge #85 will conduct Masonic services at the funeral home.  Due to Covid restrictions, masks are required to be worn.

Funeral services will be 11:00am Friday, January 29, 2021 at the funeral home with Pastor Tom Burrows officiating.  Burial will be in Beulah Cemetery.
