Mable Kirk, 98, of Frazeysburg, Ohio passed away Tuesday evening, February 2, 2021 at Genesis Morrison House in Zanesville.  Her loving family was at her side.

Born November 24, 1922 in Twelve Pole Creek, West Virginia she was a daughter of the late Amos and Lilly (Moore) Williamson.  She was a homemaker and a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother.  Mable was always happy and had a great sense of humor.  She loved to quilt and made many beautiful quilts over the years.  She loved cooking and baking pies and was well known for her delicious chicken and noodles.  Mable attended Rocky Fork First Church of God in Newark and Trinity Full Gospel Church of Zanesville.

Surviving is one son and daughter in-law, Tyrone and Beverly Kirk of Frazeysburg; one daughter and son in-law, Patricia and Michael Holtz of Nashport; five grandchildren, Kimberly Holtz, Matthew Holtz, Brandi Kirk, Tanaya Kirk and Tai Kirk and five great grandchildren.  Also surviving is one brother, Rudy Williamson of Dresden; one sister, Irene Bush of Frazeysburg and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband of 72 years, Warren R. Kirk whom she married May 27, 1942 and who died October 3, 2014; three brothers, Lowell, Carlos and Dallas Williamson and three sisters, Nary Burton, Roxanne Summerfield and Lois June Bowes.

Calling hours will be 4pm to 6pm Monday, February 8, 2021 at the Frazeysburg Chapel of Vensil & Chute Funeral Home, 110 West Third Street.

Funeral services will be 11:00am Tuesday, February 9, 2020 at the funeral home and Mable will be laid to rest next to her husband, Warren, in Frazeysburg Cemetery.
