Fatal crash on State Route 586

MUSKINGUM COUNTY, Ohio–The Zanesville Post of the State Highway Patrol is investigating a fatal accident

It happened Tuesday just after 4:00 p.m. on State Route 586 near Raiders Road and involved two vehicles.

Sergeant Jeff Jirles said 42-year-old William Blosser of Lancaster failed to yield from a stop sign at Raiders Road and State Route 586.

Sgt. Jirles said Blosser was then struck by a second vehicle driven by 46-year-old Jeromey Willet of Zanesville.

A passenger in the Blosser vehicle, 39-year-old Diana Kasler of Nelsonville, was killed in the crash while a second passenger 43-year-old Tammy Blosser was flown to Grant Hospital in Columbus.

Neither drivers in the crash were injured.

The accident remains under investigation
